Abstract:
This report describes the measurement setup and present results of airborne ozone measurements during the Trolix '91 campaign. The measurements were performed to provide vertical ozone profiles for comparison between ozone LIDAR instruments. A calibration of the complete measurement setup is evaluated. Three flights have been carried out of approximately one hour each. The precision of the airborne o3 measurements from instrument specifications and calibration results was less than expected. The discrepancy is probably caused by pressure variations at constant altitude during the taking of the measurements.<br>
