Abstract
The Unit Teratology, Endocrinology and Perinatal Screening (TEP) carries out its prenatal screening activities under a STERLAB certified quality system. To assess the quality of the service to the requesters of the analyses a questionnaire was held among them. The results indicate a general satisfaction. Most of the remarks concerned the turnover time comprising the analytical and administrative procedures. It is expected to reduce the period by alterations in the time schedule within the laboratory. On the other hand, the laboratory urges the requesters to fill out the sample forms legibly and completely and to send in the samples as soon as possible after obtaining them.<br>
