In het rapport zijn de resultaten voor 1999 weergegeven van het monitoringprogramma voor prioritaire afvalstoffen dat in opdracht van de Directie SAS/Afvalstoffen van het Directoraat-Generaal Milieubeheer door het RIVM wordt uitgevoerd. In het rapport zijn de rapportages van 27 prioritaire afvalstoffen gebundeld. Per afvalstof worden de belangrijkste gegevens betreffende de hoeveelheden (onder meer naar herkomst en verwerkingsmethode) en samenstelling volgens een standaard opzet gepresenteerd en toegelicht. In de toelichting bij de gegevens zijn de gebruikte bronnen en werkwijzen (eerder vastgelegd in meetprotocollen) beschreven.<br>
The report presents the results of the monitoring programme on priority waste streams in the Netherlands for the year 1999. This programme is carried out by RIVM by order of the Directorate of Chemicals, Waste and Radiation Protection of the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment. Basic data and additional information on the quantities, specified into origin and method of disposal, as well as the composition, are presented in a standard format for 27 priority waste streams. The sources of information and procedures used to determine the data are also explained.<br>
