Abstract
This advice is based on the results of the study 'Survey of technological Measures for environmental Problems in the Dairy Industry'. The main goal of the Research Programme is to give direction to research-projects for the 'Regulation on the Advancement of Environmental Technology' (Stimuleringsregeling Milieutechnologie) ; a regulation of the Ministry of Housing, Physical Planning and the Environment (VROM). Nine mayor environmental issues are identified for the Dairy-Industry. Six subjects have a high priority for research on technological development. Projects focussing on these subjects should be supported within the Regulation. Research concerning the reduction of energy-consumption, an important issue, is excluded. This can be supported by the Energy-Programme of Novem.<br>
