Abstract
Commissioned by the Directorate General for Environmental Protection of the Ministry of Housing Physical Planning and Environment (VROM/DGM) an inventory was held on databases on environmental technology. Target-group was the Laboratory of Waste-Materials and Emissions of the National Institute of Public Health and Environmental Protection of which the need for information and procedures is known to the authors. Of 49 databases analysed data are presented in a table form and a factsheet for each of them. By making sections for specific fields of interest, several databases were selected for the target group. It can be concluded that the target group could use several interesting databases. With the help of the table and factsheets it is also possible to make your own selection. It is advised to updata the results of the research regular, to collect experiences of users and to test a number of databases.<br>
