Ten behoeve van bewakingsonderzoek naar het voorkomen
van residuen van het diergeneesmiddel ivermectine werd een analysemethode op
basis van vloeistofchromatografie operationeel gemaakt. Op het niveau van
de laagste thans geldende Maximale Residu Limiet (MRL) van 15 mug/kg voor
lever bleek de herhaalbaarheid van de methode, uitgedrukt als relatieve
standaarddeviatie, 10% (9 vrijheidsgraden (vhg)) terwijl de binnen
laboratorium reproduceerbaarheid, eveneens uigedrukt als relatieve
standaarddeviatie, 6% (vhg 2) bedroeg.Met de methode werden 107 monsters
lever, afkomstig van kalveren, volwassen runderen, paarden, schapen, varkens
(o.a. zeugen), geiten en een bok onderzocht. In vier monsters werd
ivermectine aangetoond. In drie gevallen was het gehalte echter minder dan
15 mug/kg (rund (1), schaap (1) en zeug (1)). In een monster, afkomstig van
een schaap, werd 54 mug/kg aangetroffen.De MRL voor monsters lever
afkomstig van schapen, varkens en paarden bedraagt 15 mug/kg, voor runderen
40 mug/kg. Het aantal positieve, dat wil zeggen de MRL overschrijdende,
monsters bedroeg derhalve slechts 1 (ca. 1%). Hoewel dit percentage niet
verontrustend is, is herhaling van dit onderzoek over 3 jaar gewenst. De
aard van de analysemethode maakt dat de hiervoor benodigde analytische
capaciteit slechts beperkt is.
In order to conduct a surveillance study into the occurrence of residues of the veterinary drug ivermectin an analytical procedure based on liquid chromatography was made operational within the laboratory. At the level of the currently lowest Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) of 15 mug/kg for liver the repeatability of the method, expressed as relative standard deviation, was 10% (degrees of freedom (df) whereas the within laboratory reproducibility, also expressed as relative standard deviation, was 6% (vhg 2). With the procedure 107 samples of liver, obtained from calves, cattle, horses, pigs, sheep and goats, were investigated. In four samples ivermectin was detected. In three cases the concentration was less than 15 mug/kg (cow (1), sheep (1) and pig (1)). In one sample, obtained from a sheep, the concentration was 54 mug/kg.The MRL for samples of liver obtained from sheep, pigs and horses is 15 mug/kg, for cattle 40 mug/kg. Even though the number of positive samples, exceeding the MRL, was only 1%, continuation of this study in the near future (3 years) is indicated. The nature of the method means that only a limited laboratory capacity is needed.
