In het kader van het Taakstellend Plan ter ondersteuning van de normcommissie 390 11 'Uitloogkarakterisering van Bouw- en afvalstoffen' (TSP) voert het RIVM het project 'Uitloging van organische componenten' uit. Het doel van het project is het ontwikkelen van een set van uitloogproeven voor organische componenten. Het onderzoek in dit rapport omvat het bepalen van de emissieniveaus van PCB's en EOX en een toetsing van de ontwerp-NVN's 7344 en 7350. Daarnaast is het werkdocument van de CEN proef (van de commissie CEN TC 292) aangepast voor organische componenten en in dit onderzoek getest. De cumulatieve emissie van PCB's en EOX uit verontreinigd bouwpuin, zeefzand en grond is conform voornoemde voorschriften in tweevoud middels de kolom-, cascade- en aangepaste CEN proef bepaald. Op basis van het in dit rapport beschreven onderzoek is geen noodzaak gebleken voor aanpassing van de ontwerpvoornormen 7344 en 7350. In het onderzoek is een vergelijking gemaakt van het verloop van de cumulatieve emissie uitgezet tegen de L/S waarde met die van anorganische componenten. Hieruit blijkt dat het emissieverloop van PCB's en EOX gelijkenis vertoont.<br>
The research described has been carried out within the framework of the Target Plan for the normalization commission 39011 on 'Leaching characteristics of building and waste materials'. The aim of the project is to develop leaching tests for organic components. RIVM tested the draft protocols o-NVN 7344 en o-NVN 7350 as well as a protocol for the CEN-test (from the commission CEN TC 292) which was modified in this research. The practicality and the repeatability of the columntest, serial batch test and CEN-test were investigated. A characterisation of the leaching behaviour of PCBs and EOX from three different waste materials as well as a comparison of the emissions determined with the different leaching tests were made. Based on the research preserved in this report it is concluded that modifications of the draft protocols investigated were not necessary.<br>
