This report describes the substance chain of zinc in the Netherlands. The main sources of zinc leakages in the chain are identified together with an overview of the possible technology to close these leakages. With a simple zinc chain model it is shown that especially measurements which try to minimize the leakages during product usage and in product waste streams have great influence in improving the management of the zinc chain.
