Abstract
In this report examples of studies that have revealed immunotoxicity of chemicals are discussed. Based on these studies, the efficacy for identifying potential immunotoxicity of studies carried out according to this guideline is evaluated. Based on this evaluation it is recommended that additional immunologic parameters are included in this guideline, in order to increase the power of the test so that potential adverse effects of exposure to the compound in terms of an affected immune system are indicated during the testing procedure.<br>
