    Title
ETX 1.3a: A program to calculate confidence limits for hazardous concentrations based on small samples of toxicity data
    Translated Title
[ETX 1.3a: Een computerprogramma voor het berekenen van betrouwbaarheidsgrenzen voor schadelijke concentraties, op basis van kleine steekproeven van toxiciteitsgegevens.]
    Publiekssamenvatting
ETX (EcoToX) is a computer program for MS-DOS computers for the extrapolation of laboratory toxicity data to environmental concentrations that are safe for the majority of the biological species. It is based on the theory of Van Straalen and Denneman (1989), as modified by Aldenberg and Slob (1993). The estimates of the so-called Hazardous Concentrations can be given on two levels of confidence: a median estimate that in the long run will equally often overestimate, as well as underestimate, the true HC5 (95% species protection), and a 95% confidence underestimate that is almost surely on the safe side. Data can be entered interactively in ETX and saved to files. One can also compose data files with a text editor and read them in with ETX. Next to the computation of Hazardous Concentrations, one can calculate the hazard to the biological community at given levels of exposure, i.e. environmental concentrations. All results can be saved to files, for later printout, or study.

    Export search results

The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Different formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

By default, clicking on the export buttons will result in a download of the allowed maximum amount of items.

To select a subset of the search results, click "Selective Export" button and make a selection of the items you want to export. The amount of items that can be exported at once is similarly restricted as the full export.

After making a selection, click one of the export format buttons. The amount of items that will be exported is indicated in the bubble next to export format.
