dc.description.abstract | USES, the Uniform System for Evaluation of Substances, is a decision-supporting tool, for risk assessments of chemical substances. In a previous report, a framework was given for an uncertainty analysis of USES 1.0. For this study, example calculations were performed with this analysis, using Monte Carlo simulations. The results show that uncertainty analysis is important and feasible. Several parameters could be identified in the analysis which contributed considerably to the total uncertainty. Recommendations for future model analysis are given.
