    Title
KRW en GWR: Handreiking trend en trendomkering
    Translated Title
WFD and GWD: Help text trend and trend reversal
    Publiekssamenvatting
The EU Water Framework Directive: statistical aspects of the identification of groundwater pollution trends and aggregation of monitoring results'.

The Water Framework Directive (WFD) and Groundwater Directive (GWD) are implemented in Dutch legislation by entering rules in a regulation (AMvB). Based on article 5 and annex IV of the (GWD) Member States have to report on trend and trend reversal of the groundwater quality. The texts of the GWD are not suitable as texts for a regulation.
This report presents procedures to which can be referred to in the regulation. The procedures are taken from the Technical report nr.1 'The EU Water Framework Directive: statistical aspects of the identification of groundwater pollution trends and aggregation of monitoring results'.
In the European Union discussions on procedures for trend and trend reversal are still going on and the outcome of the discussions can result in revision of the present report.
