    Title
Gevoeligheidsanalyse berekening ammoniakemissie.
    Translated Title
Sensitivity analysis for calculating ammonia emission in livestock production. Effects of varying the frequencies and corresponding emission factors on the total emission of ammonia
    Publiekssamenvatting
Emission factors and frequencies for different housing systems, methods of animal manure application, and so on, play an important role in calculating the total emission of ammonia in livestock production. This study focused on the quantitative effects of uncertainties surrounding emission factors and frequencies for the different systems and manure application methods. These effects were studied for the Netherlands as a whole, and for the provinces of Friesland (with a large share of dairy cattle) and North Brabant (with a large share of pigs and poultry). The emission factors for manure application on arable land and grassland were shown to be the most important factors for the total emission of ammonia on a national scale. The emission factor for housing systems for dairy cattle ranked second, both on national and provincial levels.
