dc.description.abstractPurpose of this study is to ascertain the performance and to establish the performance parameters of the NO2 Dial system (configuration January 1991). The system specifications are established by basic system measurements as well as by some field experiments. For the latter are undependent references available. A computer model simulating the instrument (Dial system) as well as the object (atmosphere), has been used to separate the influences of atmospheric and instrumental parameters on the measurements.<br>
