    Title
Description of a transport chemistry toolbox: a new implementation of Moguntia
    Translated Title
A programming toolbox, written in C and developed at the RIVM, has been made available for studying 3D transport-chemistry on a global scale. The toolbox was developed to simplify using various chemistry schemes and creating emission scenarios. The underlying transport model is based on the Moguntia model with a 10 x 10 degrees resolution and monthly averaged data. The toolbox comprises functions to set up the basic programming structures for transport chemistry studies, functions to compose emission scenarios from script, functions to calculate and update reaction rates and several general utility functions. Furthermore, this report explains how to link chemistry schemes written in FORTRAN into application built on the toolbox. The overall toolbox structure is described; a detailed functional description of the procedures is presented as well.
