    Title
    Translated Title
Influence of matrix and eluent on the analysis of trace anions with ion chromatography
    Publiekssamenvatting
The impact of several matrices on results of the ionchromatographic method for the determination of chloride, nitrate en sulphate in water is demonstrated. Carry-over of the method is negligible. The RSD for both 2 mumol/l nitrate and sulphate is 2%. Untreated samples can lead to a quick polluted guardcolumn, increased pump pressure and a sulphate level of 0,5 mumol/l in blanks. The method is sensitive for high ionic matrices. In those matrices, which differ strongly from the low carbonate/ bicarbonate buffer eluent, elution of the chloride, nitrate and sulphate from impurities of the eluent takes place. In the high ionic matrices the 'on column eluent change' effect is reached rapidly. High sample matrix composition affects the retention process in the column, the area/height values (broadening) of the peak and the analytical response of trace anions. Reduction of high ionic matrices by dillution or ion exchange of the sample matrix prevents errors in identification and quantitation of measurements.

The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Different formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

By default, clicking on the export buttons will result in a download of the allowed maximum amount of items.

To select a subset of the search results, click "Selective Export" button and make a selection of the items you want to export. The amount of items that can be exported at once is similarly restricted as the full export.

After making a selection, click one of the export format buttons. The amount of items that will be exported is indicated in the bubble next to export format.
