    Publiekssamenvatting
    Gedurende het in de jaren 1998 en 1999 uitgevoerde bewakingsonderzoek "bijzondere slachtplaatsen" werd een groot aantal heid van residuen van dierbehandelingsmiddelen, beta-agonisten en thyreostatica. Vanuit dit onderzoek is geconcludeerd dat in 14 dieren (8% van de 172 gecontroleerde dieren) residuen van een of meerdere illegale groeibevorderende stoffen zijn gevonden.
    During the surveillance conducted in the period 1998 - 1999, focusing on special slaughter places, different samples were analysed for the presence of residues of anabolic compounds and sedatives, beta-agonists and thyreostats. The conclusion drawn from this surveillance is that 8% (14 animals) of the 172 animals controlled were found positive for one or more of the illegal growth promoting agents tested for.
