    Title
    Subsidiekader RIVM-CIb 2018
    Translated Title
    Subsidy framework RIVM-CIb 2018
    Publiekssamenvatting

In 2018, the Centre for Infectious Disease Control (RIVM-CIb) of the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) will grant subsidies for projects in the area of infectious disease control and/or sexual health on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS). Applications for these subsidies must meet the general, substantive and procedural criteria set out in this document.

RIVM-CIb is currently providing subsidies for sexual health projects to Soa Aids Nederland, Rutgers, the Dutch HIV Association (HVN), and the Dutch HIV Monitoring Foundation (SHM). The Dutch Working Party on Antibiotic Policy (SWAB) receives subsidies for projects devoted to antibiotic resistance, and the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation receives subsidies for activities aimed at combating tuberculosis. These organisations have been subsidised for a considerable period of time. An important aim of granting subsidies is to help support the relevant knowledge centres.

RIVM-CIb's subsidy programme has an open character, meaning that other organisations may also submit applications for either an institutional (core-funding) subsidy or a project subsidy.
