    Gemeten en berekende geluidniveaus over 2017 zijn met elkaar vergeleken. De gemeten geluidniveaus langs rijkswegen lagen gemiddeld 2 decibel hoger dan de berekende waarden. Langs het spoor waren de gemeten en berekende geluidniveaus gemiddeld hetzelfde. Dit beeld komt overeen met de resultaten van de jaren 2013-2016. Zowel bij rijks- als spoorwegen varieert op sommige trajecten de mate waarin de berekende en gemeten geluidniveaus verschillen. Eind 2019 presenteert het RIVM een rapport waarbij de achtergrond van de bevindingen uit de Geluidmonitor 2018 is onderzocht. De weg- en spoorbeheerder, Rijkswaterstaat en ProRail, berekenen elk jaar hoeveel geluid het verkeer op de weg en het spoor maakt. Het RIVM toetst elk jaar met metingen de resultaten van de berekeningen. Zowel deze validatie als de berekeningen zijn een verplichting vanwege de Wet milieubeheer. Deze monitor bevat de door het RIVM gemeten geluidniveaus in 2018. De weg- en spoorbeheerder maken de berekeningen over 2018 in de tweede helft van 2019 openbaar. Deze berekeningen worden in de Geluidmonitor 2019 vergeleken met de gemeten geluidniveaus in 2018. Deze monitor verschijnt in 2020.
    Measured and calculated noise levels for 2017 are compared. Noise levels measured alongside motorways were 2 decibels higher than the calculated values. The measured and calculated noise levels alongside the railways were on average the same. This overall picture corresponds to the results for the years 2013-2016. However, the degree to which the calculated and measured noise levels differ from each other does vary on some motorways and railways. At the end of 2019, RIVM presents a report in which the background of the results from 2018 Noise Monitor is investigated. Each year, the road and railway management authorities, Rijkswaterstaat (Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management) and ProRail, calculate how much noise is produced by road traffic and railway traffic. RIVM compares measurements to the results of the calculations each year. This validation as well as the calculations are mandatory under the Environmental Management Act. This monitor contains the noise levels of road and railways measured by RIVM in 2018. The road and railway management authorities publicise the calculations over 2018 in the second half of 2019. In the 2019 Noise Monitor, these calculations are compared to the noise levels measured in 2018. This monitor will be published in 2020. Opdrachtgever Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat

    Export search results

    The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Different formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

    By default, clicking on the export buttons will result in a download of the allowed maximum amount of items.

    To select a subset of the search results, click "Selective Export" button and make a selection of the items you want to export. The amount of items that can be exported at once is similarly restricted as the full export.

    After making a selection, click one of the export format buttons. The amount of items that will be exported is indicated in the bubble next to export format.
