Abstract
This report embodies the user's manual for the Information System on Environmental Technologies (IT), version 2. It is based on the implementation of the system as described in the Global/Detailed- design "The use of IT, version 2". The first version of "The use of IT" has been purblished as part-chapter 6- of the Global/Detailed-design IT (1989, report nr 738705003). In the Global/Detailed-design "The use of IT, version 2", the functional recommendations, mentioned in the report Evaluation IT, have been implemented. due to this it became necessary to replace the first version of the Users Guide IT. After a description on searching for information, the IT-functions are explained in detail using practical examples. A list of all terms of the IT thesaurus can be found in Appendix 1 of this report.<br>
