Results of water quality determinations in raw water, processed water and water from the distribution network have been collected for publication in the Environmental Report 1993 of the National Institute of Public Health and Environmental Protection. Parameters chosen were the concentrations of heavy metals, pesticides, macro-ions and microbiological parameters. Data have been processed and classified according to standards. Normally limit values and signal values were selected to represent the boundaries of a category. Next to the concentration of substances attention has been paid to water consumption, and to some of the characteristics of the means of production of drinking water within the infrastructure of the public water supply.
