The goal of this development was to obtain a more efficient determination of ammonium by modifying and automating the method currently used in the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry. Automatic dilution and dataprocessing was made possible by a datasystem with sample changer. The lower limit of detection was 0.008 mg/l NH4 (35). The upper limit of detection was 54 mg/l NH4 with automatic dilution.
